[LOBO]
I don’t need my remote control anymore.
I've found my favorite station.
Not only does truTV have some of my favorite Forensic Files-esque shows, but I’m now a monster fan of virtually anything by The Smoking Gun Presents (such as Worlds Dumbest [add plural noun here]” and “Most Shocking [add plural noun here]"). Still not enough high-speed car chases for you? TruTV also tops you off with a slew -nay, a bevy of police documentaries like "Cops": it’s a veritable symphony of automotive destruction and reckless blue steel boobery.

But I’m simultaneously getting "numb" to it all as well, and often find myself preoccupied with the Mobilite [Mobillian?] future. Sure already-existing footage will doubtlessly leave them reigning supreme in the ratings for at least a few more months ... with luck, perhaps even into 2010. But the wonderful citizens of Mobile have really raised the bar when it comes to entertainment: how are they going to top all this?

The obvious solution –filming a cop on fire beating a drunken Mobilite in a dragster that explodes- is probably far too dangerous.
Still, nobody ever said celebrity was easy.

LOBO, dear, you really must find a job. This "actuality" will rot your brain. Hurry before the infection spreads beyond Mobile.
You want to see a flaming cop? Watch Chips.
Can't say I watch TruTV, maybe I don't get that channel; but maybe I should. It might give me more ideas on how to blow things up by just using wood alcohol and a corn cob pipe.
TruTV is great. I've been following it for months, and I have to say that one of the funniest people on the entire network is Gary Busey on The World's Dumbest...That dude is a trip!
I miss cable and satellite TV, just for this very reason. Thanks for reminding me of what I'm missing, "Dad." ;) Happy Father's Day, too.
Must admit, I'm a sucker for those "Worst crashes" and "Scariest police chases" shows.
Stephanie: Could this be any worse than when I was doing "whip-its" with cans of Aqua Net?
Beau: I Tivoed that episode. On the corn cob pipe, press the button nose and blow their eyes out on the snow ...
Don: haha! Terri will confirm I get mad when Gary isn't on it. I love the last sixty seconds or so they give him to just ramble on incoherently or be rude to the staff.
-God I'm jealous of Gary Busey.
Unfinished Rambler: We went without it for our first six months or so here, and I really didn't think I missed it. But we got a basic cable package recently and I'm pretty jazzed frankly. The only drawback is I occasionally catch myself watching waaaay too much news and get stressed out. OCD maybe?
But thanks for the "Happy Father's Day" wish! It's funny: for Mother's Day Terri wanted cards and stuff. Alls I wanted was a nap ...
Dr. Clozoff: Me too. Between those, The Daily Show/Colbert Report and Discovery/History Channel-esque documentaries I may never sleep again ...
