Baseball is a little long-winded for me honestly. Still, I always root for Chicago period -it doesn't matter so much to me who is performing or what the game is: that city loves its sports teams.
Still I have to admit Cubs games can be excruciating, even for baseball. I find myself rooting for them in many of the same ways I'm pulling for the Tennessee Titans this year: the Cubs hold the unfortunate "lovable losers" slot.
MOB: I agree, but "it is what it is." I think even die-hard Cubbies, if pressed, would cop to the idea that the Cubs need some radical change.
