I really think this guy story is sort of tragic....
I started looking into his story in hopes of blog fodder, and ended up learning a lot of things that surprised me. You are exactly correct: it's absolutely tragic. He was pretty much found guilty by the media, and never entirely shook the 'taint' of suspicion his entire life (even after another man confessed). It's like we were flatly disinterested in his vindication entirely: that 'crazed bomber' story was far too interesting to let go of ...
You don't seem very interested in waiting for a verdict for Michael Vick, do you?
They hardly compare; Vick has entered a guilty plea already, while Jewell was an innocent victim.
