Just a short Wi-Fi note; the relentless old bat I mugged for this laptop is really upset and won't leave me alone.

But before you go on all 'judging' me, keep in mind this is LA; the law has long since abandoned any hope of reclaiming it.

I really should break down and buy my own laptop someday. These are nice!

... Besides, I don't seem to be able to run as fast as I used to.

I think I want a laptop. You get to surf the web in bed, probably naked, which makes things easier. Problem is, you might be tempted to go to Starbucks with your laptop, and then you become one of those people with laptops in Starbucks. It's a thin line, that whole laptop thing.

Make sure you steal a Mac--much better for your film. Artists have to resort to "Pro-active" grants these days.
