From the moment lights dim, suddenly the action begins.

First Jet Li does some stuff, and then Brendan Fraser does some stuff.

But the stuff that Brendan Fraser does really pisses off Jet Li, and then they start karate-chopping each other.

Predator Press gives The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor sixty-nine thumbs up: between the explosions, swords clanging, audience gasping and the thunderous soundtrack, I don't think I got eight consecutive minutes of sleep during that whole two hours.

I wish they just left out the parts where Brendan Fraser does stuff. He's annoying. Jet Li doing stuff would be sufficient.

sounds wonderful ;) I hate when the music is so loud and then when they talk, I'm like asking the person beside me "what'd they say?" lol

Drowsey: It's going to be hard to top the 2 1/2 hours of REMs achieved during Steel Magnolias, but I have faith in Hollywood.

I suspect that this movie will make considerable amount of profit. However, that profit will come from DVD bargain buckets and not the box office sales like this filth intended.

COQ: I've seen worse movies ... and in the defense of the "Mummy" series, it's pretty much all fun fluffy stuff: I wasn't expecting anything different.

But I'm all "eye candied" out ... and woefully afflicted with standards, I wasn't their demographic.

NGIP: I wish I had eleven thumbs for "Bridges" [*sigh*]

Sounds like Tomb of the Dragon Emperor met everyone's expectations overall... generally Brendan Frasier tries too hard to act, so he has an unnatural feel on screen
