The Ingredients of a Good Thriller
Predator Press
[LOBO]
The sales of Chris Wood's new book The Ingredients of a Good Thriller appear to be outpacing the free Predator Press Temporary Advance copies of This Book Kicks the Crap Out of All Those Other Books by an extraordinary margin.
-I mean I don't even think this is a real number.
My advisors tell me this is largely attributable to me never actually having written "This Book Kicks the Crap Out of All Those Other Books."
And as far as my Astrologers? This was the first they had heard of the thing.
I would fire everyone, but I don’t think I’ve paid them for six months or so already anyway.
-And hey, the Astrologers shoulda seen it comin’.

Congrats Chris!

-How saluting his efforts warrant a rationalization or some kind of defense escapes me.
Bee: I can't buy it until I figure out where Amadeus Net is [linked in sidebar] and finish it ... it's somewhere boxed up from the move still. But I definitely like Chris' darkly funny prose ... I'm sure it'll be a great read.
The Josh: LOL! I was all cranky a minute ago and that just cracked me up.
The concept of "The Best of Predator Press" seems to keep coming back from publishers smelling suspiciously of urine. Still I have been stabbing at book ideas ... Maybe the "Unauthorized Biography of LOBO" or something.
-I keep getting about five chapters in and scrapping the project.
Good of you to post the cover and link on your site too - you're a gentleman!
heehee
Good on ya Chris ... I love your blog, and anticipate buying this book as soon as I can!
